Code of Ethics

You shall be impeccable with God and with God's people.  (Num 32:22)

People in positions of leadership and/or authority at the Kallah, Elat Chayyim or other ALEPH sponsored gatherings including class and workshop leaders, mishpacha group leaders, prayer leaders or anyone practicing physical or psychological healing arts with the sanction of ALEPH, agree to abide by the following ethical guidelines:

Judge not your fellows until you get to be in their place. (Abot 2:5)

Don't despise anyone .. for there are no persons who have not their hour and there is not a thing that has not its right place. (Abot  4:3)

  • As ALEPH is committed to the creation of inclusive community, we agree that both in the content and in the process of our proceedings, we will recognize and respect the full diversity of our membership in regard to gender, sexual orientation, ability, age, family constellation, ethnic, racial and religious origin.

Accursed are those  who disturb the boundaries of their fellows.  (Deut 27:17)

  • As ALEPH is committed to creating a community which is increasingly aware of the dynamics of power and potential abuses of power in spiritual community, we agree not to misuse our leadership role.  This includes, but is not limited to refraining from beginning a sexual relationship with any participant in our class, group, workshop, prayer group or healing session during the period of the ALEPH sponsored event.
